Human Resources Expert: Vikas Dua

I grew up in an urban home in the magical city of Mumbai (then, Bombay). Lucky to be born to a progressive set of parents and in the company of two sisters, I navigated school and college with honours! 

My work life has taken me to the capital city of New Delhi, where I've traversed varied industries and several organisations—most of which have been pleasant and enriching, while some were not so. Gaining first-hand learning in the HR space from the hospitality, education, and ITES industries during a time when India has possibly seen its best years yet has truly shaped who I am today.

Along the way, I have also delivered a TEDx Talk, authored a book titled ‘HR in my HeaRT’ (you can buy it from Amazon NOW!), and contributed extensively to leading HR and business magazines, blogs, and podcasts. Since 2023, I have been recognized as a LinkedIn Top Voice by the platform.

Currently, at Weber Shandwick, I lead the HR function and collaborate with my colleagues to help build a truly great workplace. 

I also play the role of a catalyst in multiple community initiatives, giving wings to my primary passion—sharing my experience and knowledge for the development of all professionals.
